We have a unique opportunity for a highly organised, numerate and literate Administrator to join Visarc, an integrated marketing agency which provides digital and creative services to a range of premium clients.

The Position

As Administrator, you will be involved in a very broad range of activity.  In fact the position requires getting stuck into all aspects of the business and helping all teams.  The role encompasses finance, HR, health & safety, office management and marketing. The exact proportion of these can be flexible depending on hours and previous experience.  The position involves:

  • General office administration
  • Assisting with Credit control
  • Assisting with arranging renewals of supplier contracts
  • Supporting the Account Management team
  • Assisting with making regular calls to selected clients for updates
  • Completing scheduled regular reports
  • Web content input
  • Reception duties
  • Weekly stock checks and purchasing
  • Planning of team events

Key to the role is that all the activity is carried out to the highest of standards.

The Administrator role reports to the Finance Manager but will support all of Visarc.  Salary will be between 18K-22K pro rata subject to experience. 

The position is part time and is expected to be between 20 and 25 hours per week, ideally spread over 5 days.  There is some flexibility in when the hours are carried out so for example fitting in with school hours is not a problem.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will have the ability to juggle a varied range of activities, be exceptionally well organised, produce work to a high degree of accuracy, have a confident telephone manner and enjoy generally getting stuck into and sorting out problems. There will be a core amount of regular tasks to achieve as well as a steady flow of queries to answer, and deadlines to meet. This is more than just your average admin job and will require the successful candidate to be content to make tea and take calls in the morning and quickly switch to dealing with clients and helping the team hit deadlines come afternoon.

It goes without saying that a good command of English and a high level of computer literacy are essentials for this role and experience in working in an office environment would be advantageous.

The position is likely to appeal to someone looking for a part-time role where they enjoy a good working environment and helping the team to flourish.  Own transport is essential.
