Visarc has successfully launched a new website for Korean car brand KGM (formerly SsangYong) targeting the UK market. The website showcases the new brand as well as the latest models and offers from the company.
KGM selected Visarc for the project because of its automotive experience, excellence in branding and web development and long experience with Umbraco, a versatile and user-friendly content management system with headless capabilities.
The website includes features such as a modern and responsive design, intuitive navigation, comprehensive data-driven product content, a dealer locator, and multiple opportunities for prospects and customers to connect with the KGM and its dealer network.

The brand’s new UK website offers a clean and contemporary design that should resonate with a broader audience and act as a strong platform to project the company’s value proposition to the market. Future developments on the horizon include a new vehicle configurator allowing visitors to easily specify their ideal KGM car. Whilst new customers will soon be able to log in to the national website and manage their relationship with KGM. The forthcoming Customer Zone will streamline the management of individual and multi-car garages allowing owners to quickly check when their next service is due, review warranty information, select dealer communication preferences and more.
A lot of thought has gone into the design of the new website from a usability perspective, this is true for both the visitor experience and the content management experience. The customised Umbraco back office allows the KGM team to manage and update their content easily, enabling them to create campaign landing pages in hours rather than days. For visitors, the mobile-first design works great for people casually browsing on the go, that same philosophy will translate through to the Customer Zone when it launches later this year.

KGM dealers will also benefit from the project, as the system architecture behind the national website will also power the new network of dealer websites that are expected to launch in H1 2024. Once live, dealers will be able to integrate their own content into specific areas of their website, Whilst KGM will retain control over specific product and pricing content which is managed centrally and then syndicated, ensuring consistency and quality across the network. The dealer websites will also be directly integrated with KGM’s chosen CRM platform Salesforce.
